WOODHOUSE, champions of B Division last season, bounced back to winning ways in the Dales Council League's A Division by scoring 202-5 in reply to Pudsey Congs' 196-8.
Leeds Sikh made it two wins in row, with Harry Seehra scoring 58 of their 192. In reply, P Saggu took 5-21 to bowl out Cookridge for 91.
Bradford Moor travelled to Drighlington and held them to 121-9 before knocking off the runs for the loss of five wickets to also make it two wins from two matches.
There was no play in the Halifax Direct v Farnley Hill and Thornbury v New Wortley fixtures, however.
In B Division, Caribbean were the day's top scorers, making 204-4 (A Hussain 91, A Williams 52no*) at home to Leeds Sikh B, who were dismissed for 78 (A Khan 5-14).
Savile Stars also made it two wins from as many matches, scoring 141 at Sands Lane and then bowling out Adel for only 62.
Will Murray (6-8) hustled out Cookridge B for only 30 at Smithy Lane, and Shipley Providence (alias Tong Park Esholt|) replied with 33-3 for a seven-wicket win.
There was in the Crompark v Thornbury B and Pudsey St Lawrence v Baildon contests.
In C Division's only match, Farsley scored 114-8 (M Douglass 5-19) at home to Drighlington B, who were dismissed for 93 (M Blackburn 5-7), with Farsley also making it two wins from two matches.
