Cricket update
BRADFORD Park Avenue, recently vacated by Foster's Halifax League club Wibsey Park Chapel following their merger with Great Horton, will be used for league cricket this season.
Taking over there are Bradford Mutual Sunday School League Group A side Interlink, whose ground at Hirst Wood Playing Fields, Saltaire, will be used by Group B side VVS Laxman.
That in turn leaves a vacancy at Coach Road, Baildon, which is currently only being used by Group B club Greenfield.
The use of Avenue means another prestige venue for the league following Bowling Baptists' use of Manningham Mills.
