BINGLEY Congs duo Tom Keighley (43) and skipper Neil Copping (64) added 61 for the fourth wicket as the Mewies Solicitors Craven League defeated the Nidderdale League by two wickets in their end-of-season clash at the Nidderdale Show.
The Craven League won the toss and asked Nidderdale to bat in glorious weather. They made 172-8 off their 40 overs, John Lambert taking 3-33, Adam Smith 2-19 and Matt House 2-27.
The visitors were in trouble at 13-2 and 41-3 before a revival, Copping hitting three sixes and eight fours before being dismissed at 159. Gareth Wright (18no) then saw Craven home in the 31st over.
