Steve Patterson and Rich Pyrah shared seven wickets as Durham were bowled out for 237 in today’s Royal London One-Day Cup quarter-final at Headingley.
Captain Mark Stoneman’s 120-ball 102 had helped the Jets build an excellent platform at 178-3 in the 40th over - but they lost their last seven wickets for 55 to be bowled out inside 49 overs.
Patterson finished with 3-39 from his ten overs and Pyrah claimed 4-51 from 9.4.
After Andrew Gale had won the toss, play was held up for 31 minutes with the score at 8-0 after three overs when a Yorkshire member collapsed in the Trueman Enclosure and required CPR. He was taken to hospital.
