Great Horton Church are now the only Group A side with a 100 per cent Bradford Mutual Sunday School League record after defeating fellow high-fliers Hallfield by 43 runs.

Ibrar Hussain scored 41 in Great Horton’s 163 all out before Zabi Ullah and Zia Sha both took 4-33 as Hallfield were all out for 120.

Heaton are up to second after they beat Omars in a low-scoring match. Heaton made just 98 (Ansaw Mahmood 4-13) but a 4-16 return from Mohammed Ashfaq saw Omars all out for 67.

In third place are previously-unbeaten Bradford Gymkhana after they lost to Interlink by a single wicket.

Gymkhana were all out for 111, Imran Bashir making 36 as Adam Patel claimed 4-33 and Mohammed Pandor 4-40, before Interlink edged home thanks to Yunis Bismillah’s 40 not out against Amjad Ali (4-37).

Salem Athletic are up to fourth after they defeated Bradford Moor YMCA by eight wickets.

Majid Ur Rehman (5-23) and Mehr Sultan (4-1) rushed out Bradford Moor for 102, with Masood Ahmed making 43 not out in the successful reply.

Defending champions Girlington finally managed a win at the third attempt, scoring 203 against Cambing thanks to Mohammed Azad (82no) and Mushtaq Hussain (44no) before dismissing their opponents for 134.

Apperley Bridge are the only club to have won all three matches in Group B after bowling out Mayfield for 126 (Tahir Khan 4-14) having posted 203 (Arshad Mahmood 5-48).

Bradford Gymkhana are second despite losing to Girlington by eight runs. Hassan Iqbal scored 100 of Girlington’s 178 all out, with Gymkhana then all out for 170 (Zafran Dawood 62).

Bowling Baptists are up to third after beating Allerton (161 – Rab Nawaz 62) by two wickets thanks to Kasim Malik’s 66.

Greenfield (136-9 – Umar Draz 4-21) climbed off the foot of the table with their first win as they beat Salem Athletic (101 – Mohammed Hanif 4-15).

The day’s top scorers were Yorkshire LPS as they reached 291-7 (Vivek Jeyakumar 123, Hitesh Patel 75) against Daisy Hill, who slumped to 82 all out in reply.

Great Horton Church and Mandhata lead the way in Group C with three wins each – and meet next weekend when at least one 100 per cent record will go.

Church defeated Great Horton Meths by seven wickets after dismissing them for 58 (Qasim Akbar 4-5), while Mandhata (Hiren Morka 43no) beat Cambing by nine wickets having rolled them over for 71.

Bradford Indians (125-9 – Gaurang Ghandhi 55, Sohail Butt 6-15) gained their first win by seeing off Hallfield (61 – Lenin Ackruti 6-10).

Central YMCA (126-9) lead the way in Group D after a narrow one-wicket win over Yorkshire LPS (125).

Muff Field B (124-0 – Steven Broadbent 55no, Frank Powell (54no) defeated their A team stablemates (120 – Peter Burkinshaw 50) by ten wickets.

Dave Winters (40no) guided Buttershaw St Paul’s to 137-8 at Great Horton Meths, who replied with just 86 (Jack Llewellin 44, Will Greenwood 4-14).
