After two just sets of fixtures in the Dales Council League, three clubs – Cookridge, New Wortley and Shipley Providence – find themselves in a tie at the top of Division A.
Cookridge (138-8) were indebted to Haroon Rashid, who hit an unbeaten 62 in steering his side to a two-wicket win over 2012 champions Leeds Sikh, who had been dismissed for 136.
New Wortley (127, Safiulla Khan 51 Daniel Metcalfe 5-28) made it two wins out of two with a 20-run success at Baildon (107), while Shipley Providence (125-2) recorded a comfortable eight-wicket win over visitors Adel, who had earlier been restricted to 122-8.
Pudsey Congs (149-9, Amit Khullar 5-21) find themselves a mere two points behind the leading trio after also registering a second success following a 45-run win at Crompark (104).
Hepworth & Idle (115-4) got their season up and running after completing a six-wicket win at Halifax Direct 114 (Naz Khan 50, Sean McEvoy 4-25).
In the final fixture at Tong Village, Farnley Hill (90-5) recorded a five-wicket win over visitors Saville Stars, who had previously been dismissed for just 87.
Newcomers Bradford Moor lead the way in Division B. They amassed 317-7 at Hepworth & Idle B.
Irfan Sadiq, with an unbeaten 117, led the way for the visitors, with Naveed Andrabi weighing in with 71.
This formidable total proved far too many for the home side, who were dismissed for just 82 (Owais Khan 4-16).
Thornbury (142-9) are just three points behind the leaders after their 44-run win at home to near neighbours Undercliffe, who were put out for 98, with Waqar Ahmer returning 6-38 for the home side.
Promoted Tong Park Esholt (118, Alan Mitchell 6-16) continue to be upwardly mobile after completing a 32-run win over visitors Drighlington-Whitehall (86).
In Division C, Shipley Providence B (152-6, Ali Shahid 50) made it two wins out of two after recording a four-wicket win at Drighlington-Whitehall (150-8, James Newell 55).
