The JCT600 Bradford League have taken steps to improve the service to their website users.
They have moved the www.bradfordcricketleague.org site to a new web host.
This switch to a new platform is aimed at avoiding unexpected breaks in website availability.
All of the material on the league’s old website has been copied to www.bradfordcl.com.
Users will be diverted to www.bradfordcricketleague.org if you use the bradfordcl.com address.
Updates will appear on both sites but by next year it is proposed that www.bradfordcl.com will become the only url for accessing the league site.
Bradford League chief executive David Young said: “We have been wanting to make the switch to a new platform for some time because we have been unhappy about the breaks in service we have experienced.
“We believe the changes we have made will improve the reliability of the service we deliver to our followers.
“Moving forward, we want to make bradfordcl.com the only url with which to access the site.
“By leaving that change until 2014, we are giving people the chance to change their bookmarks and get used to the new address, which is also shorter and easier to type in.”
