After two long weeks, the lads are certainly ready for a game!

We’ve been sat on an awful result for the past fortnight and we’re looking forward to turning that around and putting things right with a win against Wakefield.

Wakefield are a bit of a rejuvenated side at the moment and are playing some good rugby.

After signing so many new players this season it looks like they are finally coming together.

It’s going to feel a little weird seeing Syko line up against us though! He’s a great bloke and I wish him all the best there - apart from this week!

I’m not sure what everyone else’s thoughts on the Exiles game were, but it wasn’t exactly a classic.

However, it has served its purpose and the England squad are bound to be a better team for the win.

There has been good news for three of our young Bulls this week, John Bateman, Liam McAvoy and Oli Roberts have all been selected to tour Australia with the England Academy side.

This is a great opportunity for these young lads and can only be a good thing for Bradford and our future.

I’m sure John and Oli are excited about this trip but I think Liam could be a little nervous.

Since joining our first-team training squad, I’m surprised that ‘Beans’ has survived on a day-to-day basis, never mind plays as a professional sportsman!

As his nickname suggests, Beans lives on a staple diet of baked beans three times a day!

After moving in with James Donaldson, he was expected to pull his weight and help out with the chores.

Donno asked him to load the dishes into the dishwasher: this is a simple task for most - but not for Beans!

As he didn’t know which were the dishwasher tablets, he used what he thought were the next best thing - toilet-bleaching tablets!

I’m not sure if Australia is ready for Beans!

Back to rugby though now and I can’t wait for this week’s game. Wakefield is another of our local derbies and it is set to be a cracking game.

Get down to Odsal and cheer on the boys - I am looking forward to seeing you all there.

COYB!
