Revenge is on the menu as Leeds make their first trip to Blackpool for 41 years tonight.

Ian Holloway’s Tangerines hammered them 5-0 at Elland Road earlier this season, although the play-off chasers have gone off the boil in recent weeks with successive draws against Championship strugglers Nottingham Forest and Barnsley.

Leeds had lost three on the bounce before Saturday but stopped the rot with a come-from-behind 4-1 home win over Peterborough.

It has come too late to save this season and Neil Warnock is already planning ahead for a summer of squad rebuilding.

Aidan White, Ross McCormack, Adam Clayton and Darren O’Dea are all on his agenda and he is waiting to hear a response from Robert Snodgrass on the offer to make him the highest-paid player at the club.

Warnock is not surprised that the Scottish international is taking his time.

He said: “If I was him, I wouldn’t rush into anything either. He’s got to know where we want to be and I hope he’s part of it.

“If not, then he’ll move on, but he might not get a game somewhere else. You never know what’s around the corner.”

American winger Robbie Rogers is ruled out of the Bloomfield Road visit after being forced off just 12 minutes into Saturday’s win with an ankle injury.

Blackpool are boosted by the return of former Huddersfield playmaker Gary Taylor-Fletcher following a recent shoulder problem.
