BD3 United are the first team through to the SPEN VALLEY LEAGUE CUP final after scraping past Fairbank United 4-3 thanks to an extra-time winner.

The BD3 goals came from Phil Smith, Toseef Arshad, Intikhab Alam and a Sajad Ali penalty, with Usman Amir, Tufail Ahmed and Faisel Shabir replying.

The second semi-final between Savile United and Jardy Boys is scheduled for Wednesday evening at Liversedge, which is also due to stage the final next Monday.

Jardy Boys warmed up with a 4-2 win against West Bradford Spartans in the third round of the SPEN VALLEY LEAGUE CHALLENGE TROPHY.

Bobby Canning and Chris Haigh netted for Spartans but Jardy Boys, who played the last half hour with ten men, won through thanks to Joe Lyttle (2), Jason Elliott and Oliver Mitchell.

BD3 were also in Trophy action and edged out TVR United 2-1 courtesy of an Arshad double.

Oakwell needed extra time to see off Girlington 1-0, with Aiden Bennett bagging the winner.

And Ravensthorpe Rangers eased past Marsh 3-0 with goals from Zah (2) and Gafoor.

League fixtures included a 6-3 win for Bradford at Fairbank which enabled them to extend their lead over Jardy Boys at the PREMIER DIVISION summit to six points.

Fairbank led 2-1 and 3-1 through Moh Shobia (2) and Shabir but Gurdip Singh (2), Matthew Knowles, Andrew and Stephen Royston and Azir Gulzar turned the tables.

Jardy Boys kept in title contention with a 12-2 romp against Mount Athletic as Johnny Beverley and Benn McCann netted hat-tricks. Gary Foley (2), Joe Little (2), Jason Campbell and substitute Mernes Medic completed the rout.

Thornhill United Seniors edged past bottom side Quarry 5-4, with Jason Hinchcliffe particularly impressive for the winners.

Brad Parker bagged the winner to back up goals by Aaron Kennedy (2), Adam Kennedy and Danny Craven, while Brad Jackson, Jake Hirst, Kieran Jagger and Gaz Bowman replied.

Vision marched on at the top of DIVISION ONE with a 10-0 cruise against bottom side Ravenswharfe Hotel.

A Chris Lever hat-trick was supported by Aaron Kershaw, Matthew Knott, Michael Roebuck, Craig Kelly, Liam Hardy Joe Petcher and 52-year-old Tibor Szabo.

ALC climbed to fourth with a 7-0 win against Thornhill United Seniors B. Ryan Mitchell backed up hat-tricks by Aaron Irvin and Dave Niblock.

Norfolk squeezed past Howden Clough 3-2 as Moh Shoiab (2) struck a late winner. Ilyas Lunat scored Norfolk’s other goal.
