In the West Riding County Cup, Albion Sports’ twice postponed second-round tie against Ossett Albion finally went ahead, with the clash going to penalties at Ossett after Sports had conceded home advantage to get the tie played.
The sides were level at 1-1 after 90 minutes and after extra-time but Ossett won on penalties.
Sports had gone behind in the first half but levelled through Steve Hollingworth following a second-half corner.
They had Jamie Bairstow sent off for a second yellow card in the first period of extra-time and though the ten men held firm it will be Ossett who go through to play Harrogate in the next round.
