In Division One of the Baris Northern Counties East League, joint leaders Albion Sports look set to lose ground as they have no fixture this weekend, despite their rented home Horsfall Stadium being available.
Eccleshill United, on the other hand, could make up significant ground, and distance themselves from lower mid-table Hallam, who visit the Rapid Solicitors Stadium.
The Eagles have had a very good run of form and have played fewer games than all but one of the clubs above them but are just two places higher than Hallam.
