Our away form is not something that is playing on my mind.

Obviously it’s been eight games now this season without a win but I don’t think it’s a mental problem.

I remember at Gillingham getting to March not having won away from home. That’s when it really gets into your head.

You can tell when it creeps into people’s thoughts and that’s not happening with us.

Macclesfield changed their formation the other night because of the problems we were causing them. That tells you we are doing something right.

The reason we didn’t get anything from the game was down to one shocking refereeing decision. That penalty was the sort of thing which costs people money and their livelihood.

I said to him at the time that he only gave it to make up for the one in the first half when he thought he’d got it wrong. But Dukey had never touched him anyway.

We battered them in the second half and then the referee killed us from their only attack.

I spoke to Draper and he said he didn’t even ask the ref for a penalty. He just got up and started to run back.

The linesman didn’t give it either. It was just a shoulder to shoulder run between two players and for some reason the ref thought big Luke had pushed him over.

Of course, we can complain about the penalty but if we’d taken our chances that game would have finished 5-1.

Swindon will be a tough place to go on Saturday and Paolo Di Canio’s got them playing just how he wants.

They’re in the play-off places and are another team who have strung a run together. That’s something we need to do.

Di Canio was an unbelievable player and it’s got to rub off on you having a manager like that. But it can also put pressure on his team.

We’ve got to go there and ruffle a few feathers by starting well. If we can get him frustrated on the sidelines that might affect his players.
