Marc Herbert’s Bulls career appears to be over after he broke his hand in the 60-12 defeat at Wigan.
The Aussie scrum half, signed on a one-year deal last November, has not been offered new terms for next year and looks certain to sit out Bradford’s final two games.
Fellow import Patrick Ah Van could also be in a similar situation.
The Kiwi three-quarter was also withdrawn at half-time at the DW Stadium and has already agreed to join Widnes Vikings next season.
“Marc Herbert’s got a broken hand and Pat’s got a knock to his neck so they both had to come off,” confirmed Mick Potter.
“The guys tried,” he added. “It just wore them out in the second half.
“We had 30 play-the-balls in the second half and you can’t even think about winning a game with 30 play-the-balls.
“They build pressure way better than us and they’re a complete footy team.”
