Goalkeeeper Kasper Schmeichel has completed his transfer from Leeds United to Leicester City for an undisclosed fee. He has accepted a three-year contract.

The Dane last week claimed he was being forced out of Elland Road and had no wish to leave, but United made it clear there was no future for him at the club.

Leeds manager Simon Grayson has already signed goalkeeper Paul Rachubka from Blackpool, and with Shane Higgs also having left another senior keeper is set to arrive in readiness for the new season.

Meanwhile, United’s game at Burnley on Saturday, November 19, has been moved from 3pm to 12.45pm for televising live by the BBC.
