Neil Kilkenny will find himself in demand when he returns from international duty with Australia.

The Leeds United midfielder, whose contract expires at the end of this month, is ready to move on after manager Simon Grayson indicated he was not prepared to wait any longer for the 25-year-old to reach a decision.

Burnley, Bristol City, Ipswich and Hull City are all believed to be interested in Kilkenny, who says he will examine his options when he returns to England. The Socceroos came through their friendlies against New Zealand on Sunday and Serbia on Tuesday undefeated and Kilkenny is now free to settle his future.

Grayson said towards the end of last month: “We have to prepare for next season. I am keen to move on so we can plan accordingly in terms of what we need.”

Harry Kewell, the former Leeds United and Liverpool winger, is wanted by three Australian clubs after being released by Galatasaray.

Kewell, 32, scored 33 goals in 86 games for the Turks but is now keen to return to the country of his birth with his young family.

Sydney FC, Melbourne Victory and Newcastle Jets are all in the running to sign Kewell, who claims money will not be a factor in his decision and he wants to settle in the city that can offer the best lifestyle.
