The final of the Bradford Sunday Alliance League's Intermediate Cup will be between Stocks Lane Rangers, from Division 1A, and Division 1B outfit Sandy Lane after both teams won close and exciting semi-finals at Rawdon Meadows yesterday.

Stanningley Albion and Stocks Lane played 120 minutes without either goalkeeper being beaten, and it was only the dreaded penalty shoot-out that separated them at the end, with Stocks Lane winning it 5-3.

Undercliffe took an early lead in the other semi-final, but the Division 1B leaders came back to win 2-1, goals from Adam Painter and Danny Hook putting them through to their second decider in successive weeks after reaching the final of the Keighley and District FA Sunday Cup.

There was also league action, and in the Premier division Buttershaw White Star warmed up for their West Riding County Fa Sunday Cup semi-final with a 5-1 victory over Baildon Trinity, with Chris Graham and John Selby both bagging braces.

Dudley Hill Rangers won a thriller 4-3 at Bierley with virtually the last kick of the match, while Bolton Woods moved back into second place with a 1-0 victory over Ventus Sports.

In the battle of the basement clubs, Oakenshaw were dumped at the bottom of the pile when Clayton Orient beat them 4-1 to leapfrog their opponents.

Mill Lane had a 4-1 victory over George Hotel as they returned to winning ways in Division One.

Manningham dented Wyke Wanderers' promotion ambitions with a 2-0 home victory, while Andrew Lockhart hit a hat-trick as White Eagles shared the points and six goals at Ventus United.

Both Buttershaw Celtic and Thornton United narrowed the gap on Tyersal in Division 1A when both scored seven goals against basement dwellers Unity All Stars and Dog and Gun respectively, with Danny Walker on the mark with a hat-trick and Lee Taylor bagging a brace for Thornton, and Nathan Ramsden and Paul Blake on the mark for Celtic with a brace each.

In Division 1B, Dudley Hill Rangers Reserves moved back into pole position with a 3-1 victory at Wrose Bull, with Zak Rigg, Mark Wilcox and Sam Morton on the mark for the visitors.

The two basement clubs had a goal fest at Saltaire Rangers, with the hosts beating Woodman Rovers 7-4.

Harold Club continue to impress in Division 2B with a 4-0 victory over Beldon Sports and they must surely be considered as title challengers as the season enters the sharp end, with some clubs having to play twice a week until the end of the campaign.

New Tyke Rangers had a 5-1 victory over Eccleshill Sunday, with Luke Whittaker on the mark with a hat -trick Division 3A TCFC were three goals in front against Cuedos Rangers Reserves but a determined fightback by the visitors made sure that the points were shared in a six-goal thriller.

Oddfellows Athletic kept up the pressure at the top with a 2-0 victory over Dudley Hill Keys.

In Division 3B, Hockney All Stars were the leading scorers of the day with 11 against Delius, and Pudsey Amateurs were also among the goals, hitting six against Bradford Moor YSA.

Robin Hood's run to the top of the table was checked by a goalless draw against Salthorn WMC.

Hare and Hounds are still top of Division Four after beating White Swan 4-3, and Dovesdale WMC won an entertaining match against Great Horton 6-1 to move them into third place.

Little Horton were the division's leading scorers, hitting eight against bottom club Springfield United. Sporting Athletic scored an equaliser five minutes from time to share the points against Canterbury 2010 after being behind virtually all the match.
