Tommy Doherty will get his first run-out of the year tomorrow night as City reserves face Sheffield Wednesday at Valley Parade (7.00 kick-off).
Midfielder Doherty returned to training last week after nearly three months out with an ankle injury. Chib Chilaka is also back from his loan spell at Harrogate Town.
Nineteen-year-old Italian left winger Christian Nanetti will make a trial appearance. The jet-heeled former QPR trainee is currently playing for Jamie Lawrence’s Ashford Town.
