Bay Athletic will fly the flag for the West Riding County Amateur League in this season’s West Riding County FA Challenge Cup after Premier Division side Lower Hopton were beaten 5-1 by Huddersfield & District League side Uppermill.
West Yorkshire League side Otley Town progressed into the semi-finals with a 3-1 win over Alwoodley.
In the Challenge Trophy, Campion Reserves lost 2-1 at home to Beeston St Anthony’s Reserves, leaving Lepton Highlanders as the remaining WRCAL side in the competition. Lepton had two goals from Anthony Haigh to thank as they beat Knaresborough Town Reserves to claim a semi-final spot.
