Local pairs finished in the top two at the Bradford Winter Alliance event hosted by Riddlesden.
Keighley’s Martin Cooper (6) and Paul Davies (4) led the standings with 45 points, while home club duo Andy Salanyk (9) and Brian Wilthew (9) clinched second place after a back-nine countback against two other pairs on 41 points.
Other placings: 3 Ian Brogden (14) & David Bland (5), Cleckheaton, 41pts (back nine 20, back six 14), 4 Nev Thornton (8) & Steve Willock (6), Woodhall Hills, 41 (back nine 20, back six 13). Professionals: 1= Nathan Stead (Shipley), Warren Kemp (West Bradford) 33.
