BBC TV Commonwealth Games summariser and former world champion swimmer Mark Foster has met staff from a Bradford health club as part of their partnership with the Amateur Swimming Association.
The former Strictly Come Dancing star teamed up with Esporta Bradford to help members get the most from their swimming.
Mark launched the partnership at the Gallagher Leisure Park in Thornbury, which is part of Esporta Health Clubs, the UK’s leading premium health and leisure club operator.
Esporta has adopted British Gas Swimfit, an ASA initiative that provides structured sessions and programme cards to lead swimmers of all ages and abilities through a fitness plan suitable for their ambition, whether that is toning up, improving fitness or honing their competitive edge.
Foster said: “It’s about inspiring people to swim and be more fit and healthy. Swimfit is fantastic because swimming shows people who use the gym how they can work the pool into their keep-fit routine.”
