In his absence, Shane Duff was named the third captain in as many matches.
Lewis Hunt took Ramsden's spot at right back for his home debut. Tommy Doherty also started for the first time in League Two action after playing the full 120 minutes on Tuesday.
Gareth Evans was back after missing in midweek. And Michael Flynn was a welcome addition to the bench.
