Bradford Park Avenue’s pre-season friendly derby against a Leeds United XI at Horsfall Stadium tonight will be free entry.
Avenue director Kevin Hainsworth said: “It was very short notice but Leeds told us they have a foreign player on trial with them and they wanted him to play in the game.
“Because he isn’t yet registered with the FA, we can’t charge people on the gate.
“That does mean it is free, so we hope that will entice even more supporters of both clubs. No-one wants to watch England after all!”
Despite Leeds having started their Championship season on Saturday and playing a Carling Cup tie last night, they are set to send an experienced squad to Horsfall.
