Bradford suffered their eight straight defeat after falling 35-18 at Harlequins.

They could barely have made a worse start, a string of errors handing the effervescent hosts all the early initiative.

Good work from Luke Gale created tries for both Luke Dorn and Andy Ellis before a breakaway from Dorn sent in Ben Jones-Bishop, Danny Orr converting all three.

Needing some inspiration, the Bulls got it from Brett Kearney, their Aussie full back roaming across the pitch before providing the off-load for Elliott Whitehead to score, Paul Sykes converting.

But further chances were bombed and Quins only extended their lead before the break, Orr kicking a penalty after Steve Menzies was penalised for dissent and Gale adding a drop goal.

Sykes crossed for the Bulls after the break, following good work from Craig Kopczak, but Ben Jones-Bishop replied for the hosts and Menzies was sent to the sin-bin after a string of offences.

Orr kicked two further penalties before Chris Melling scored to make it 35-12.

Steve Crossley grabbed a late consolation, converted by Sykes, his first senior try proving bittersweet.
