Defender Louis Horne this afternoon put pen to paper on a one-year deal at Valley Parade.
Eighteen-year-old Horne, son of City's youth development officer Peter, was named as a substitute 31 times last season. But he came on only once for the final half hour at home to Cheltenham in January.
Horne, who captains the reserves, joined the club's centre of excellence as a nine-year-old.
