The Fire Brigade have organised a star-filled charity golf day in aid of the Bradford Burns Unit for the 25th anniversary of the Valley Parade disaster.

Famous City and Leeds faces will be teeing off at Hollins Hall, including Bobby Campbell, Lee Sharpe, Trevor Cherry, Paul Jewell, Greg Abbott, Dean Windass, Peter Lorimer, Eddie Gray and Norman Hunter. Bradford’s former snooker world champion Joe Johnson and Yorkshire cricket legend Brian Close are also taking part in the event on Wednesday, May 12.

All the tee-off times have been sold but hole and tee sponsorships are available for £250 each. Places can also still be booked at £35 per person for the evening dinner, which will include an auction and comedian.

They can be booked by e-mail at christinegilliver@live.co.uk or by phone on 07775-714530.
