Red-hot favourites Manningham were taken to extra time by New Furnace before finally winning the Bradford Sunday Alliance League Intermediate Cup final.

Division 2A side New Furnace put up sterling resistance before finally succumbing to Adam Jones’ second goal for the Division 1A high-fliers.

The underdogs twice drew level as Jones and then Waheed Khan with a penalty gave Manningham the edge.

But Jones doubled his tally in the extra period as Manningham made up for last year’s defeat in the final of the same competition.
