Steeton have one foot in the promotion door after brushing aside DIVISION ONE basement club Hemsworth Miners Welfare 5-2 in the West Riding County Amateur League.

Bay Athletic Reserves’ 4-2 home win over Steeton Reserves secured the points they required to take the DIVISION TWO title.
Westbrook YMCA moved closer to a promotion berth in their first season back in the league as Phil Morton and Rob Carr scored twice apiece in a 5-0 home win over Golcar United Reserves.
Campion Reserves remain third despite losing 2-0 at Storthes Hall Reserves.
Huddersfield YMCA sealed promotion in their first season in DIVISION THREE with a 9-1 victory over Wakefield City Reserves and now only need one more point from their final three games to clinch the title.
Ovenden West Riding Reserves could also secure promotion with victory over Albion Sports Reserves tomorrow night.
Fields S&S and Campion meet on Wednesday evening in the final of the Bradford & District FA Saturday Senior Cup at Thackley’s Dennyfield ground.
