Manningham will start as favourites to go one step further than last season’s Bradford Sunday Alliance League Intermediate Cup final defeat this weekend.

The Division 1A high-fliers, beaten by Buttershaw Celtic in the 2009 showpiece, take on fifth-placed Division 2A side New Furnace at Manningham Mills on Sunday (2.15pm).

And having gained revenge over Buttershaw by beating them in the semi-finals, the title appears theirs for the taking.

Premier Division title hopefuls Buttershaw White Star are at home to second-bottom Silsden in a key league fixture.

White Star, who need a win to keep up the pressure on leaders West Bowling, also now know who they will face in the Bradford & District Cup final.

This follows Division One champions Westwood Park’s 4-1 midweek last-four victory over Premier Division opponents Bolton Woods, Lee Smith scoring two of the goals.

West Bowling have a weekend off to get ready for their big night in the County Sunday Cup final against holders HT Sports at Woodlesford on Thursday.

There is just one match in Division One, with Westwood Park travelling to play Dudley Hill Rangers in good spirits.
