Millwall midfielder Adam Bolder today continued Peter Taylor’s City influx.

The 29-year-old battler became the fifth new signing, coming in on a month's loan, and will go straight into the squad to face Rotherham at the Don Valley Stadium.

Taylor said: "He's a very good signing. I wouldn't say Adam is just a defensive-minded player, he can do a bit of both and is good on the ball."

Hull-born Bolder’s capture is a coup for Taylor. He has played more than 300 games, chiefly in a seven-year spell at Derby, and was instrumental in Millwall’s push to the League One play-off final last season.

Bolder played in both legs of the semi-final win over Leeds as well as the 3-2 defeat to Scunthorpe at Wembley.

But he has fallen out of favour this season. He has appeared only 14 times - the last a 2-0 win over Bristol Rovers on December 28.

Bolder, whose younger brother Chris has played for Guiseley, has appeared in all four divisions. He made his Derby debut in 2001 in a Premier League win at Old Trafford.
