A busy programme of non-league soccer tomorrow night sees Guiseley looking to dent the hopes of fellow promotion candidates Kendal Town in the UniBond Premier Division.
The Lions consolidated their fifth place with a narrow 2-0 victory over basement outfit Durham City on Saturday, while the Cumbrians lost 2-0 at home to Buxton.
That left Town just three points and one place behind Guiseley so tonight’s game at Nethermoor is a genuine six-pointer.
Guiseley spokesman Stuart Allen said: “This is a very important game for us because of the opportunity of putting some distance between ourselves and Kendal.
“There were no injuries from the win over Durham so Steve (manager Kittrick) has a full complement of players to choose from.
“It will be a different proposition to Saturday. Durham came and got ten men behind the ball but Kendal will be looking for a positive result.”
Both Guiseley and Kendal have played the fewest number of games – 23 – in the division, meaning they have up to five games in hand on some teams.
Elsewhere, Silsden make the short journey to Colne for a rearranged Vodkat Premier Division clash and both local representatives in the Kool Sport NCEL Division One are in action.
Leaders Brighouse Town travel to Bottesford Town while rock-bottom Eccleshill United visit Barton Town Old Boys.
