With Huddersfield-based Premier Division sides Bay Athletic, Golcar United, Marsden and Meltham Athletic in Huddersfield & District FA Cup action, Bradford sides Wibsey and Albion Sports could move into the top two places in the West Riding County Amateur League with home victories on Saturday.

Wibsey are on an unbeaten run of eight games, and last weekend’s 3-0 home victory over Brighouse Town saw them climb to second place and within one point of leaders Marsden.

They entertain Lower Hopton at Westwood Park (2pm).

Albion, who are in fourth, a point adrift of Wibsey, will be playing their first league game for seven weeks when they entertain strugglers Ardsley Celtic.

Campion entertain Hall Green United before they embark on three weeks of cup games, while mid-table Tyersal visit bottom-placed Storthes Hall.

With Keighley Shamrocks having resigned from Division One – due to a lack of interest from players – a few adjustments have been made to the league table.

Leaders Hunsworth, who had played Shamrocks only once, lose three points, while Salts and Littletown both drop six points from their two victories.
