City were left seething after Rotherham won a heated Yorkshire derby at Valley Parade.

The Millers struck twice in the last 13 minutes to condemn the Bantams to a second successive home defeat.

But City felt hard done by with both goals.

Gary Roberts scored a spectacular free-kick from 45 yards out - but Stuart McCall was angry that it was taken from the wrong position.

Then Drewe Broughton looked suspiciously offside when he made it four.

To add to the sense of injustice, the home side felt the Rotherham striker should not have still been on the field after a clash with Simon Ramsden just before half-time.

It was a controversial ending to a see-saw encounter that had everything.

Lee Bullock had fired City ahead with his first goal since April. But a double from Kevin Ellison turned the tables before the break.

City then levelled within 13 seconds of the restart through Michael Flynn as the fireworks continued.

Ian Sharps hit a post for Rotherham and Flynn cleared off the line. At the other end, Rotherham keeper Andy Warrington made a couple of superb saves to deny Bullock and James O'Brien.

But the defeat saw City lose further ground on the leading pack.
