JCT600 are set to complete a decade in partnership with the Bulls after extending their sponsorship until 2011.

The news comes as a major fillip to the club as they gear up for Friday night’s crucial do-or-die encounter at Hull FC and their dramatic bid for play-off success.

Bradford-based JCT600 – the largest privately owned motor group in the country – have been their major sponsors since originally coming on board in 2002. Their current deal was due to expire next year but founder Jack Tordoff has already agreed to finance another season as well.

“It’s been a very successful partnership for JCT600 and the Bulls have enjoyed a lot of success and media profile whilst wearing our brand on their shirts,” said Tordoff.

“Unfortunately, this year we have had a good team who were out of form at the start of the season but we feel they have the right people in place to enable the side to produce their true form next season.”

The Bulls – who have won three World Club Challenges, two Grand Finals and a Challenge Cup since linking up with JCT600 – have endured their toughest Super League campaign to date and risked missing out on the play-offs for the first time in their history.

But Sunday’s win over Salford City Reds was their fourth on the bounce and they now know victory in Friday’s televised game at KC Stadium, allied with a Catalans defeat at St Helens, will see them bag the all-important eighth place.

Bulls chairman Peter Hood is delighted to have gained the continued support of their partners. “Jack Tordoff’s and JCT600’s contribution to professional and amateur sport across the Bradford district over many years has been second to none and JCT600’s sponsorship of Bradford Bulls has been a major factor in the club’s success,” he said.

“It is a huge boost to know that JCT600 are firmly on board with the Bulls for the remainder of the current Super League franchise.”
