Yorkshire County Cricket Club have announced the signing of Em Arlott, who will join the club from November 1 ahead of the 2027 season.
The Norfolk native joins on a three-year contract from Warwickshire, who she signed for at the dawn of the new domestic structure.
In two years at Edgbaston to date, she has taken 28 wickets.
During the regional era, she played for Central Sparks where she took 72 wickets across List A and T20 cricket.
Arlott has also played ten times for England across ODIs and T20s, bursting onto the scene with 3-14 in a WT20 against the West Indies in 2025.
The 28-year-old said, "I’m delighted to be joining Yorkshire at what is a pivotal point in the development of their team.
"I’m in no doubt that women’s cricket has grown rapidly across the region and I’m excited to experience the energy behind this.
"When I spoke to (women’s head coach) Rich Pyrah and (general manager of cricket) Gavin Hamilton, I could feel the vision of where they are taking this team.
"To get the opportunity to play with cricketers like Lauren Winfield-Hill and Jess Jonnassen is a huge pull too.
"These are legends of the game, and I feel ready to help get Yorkshire to the very top."
Yorkshire have also announced the permanent signing of Alice Clarke from Lancashire.
She joins on a three-year deal with immediate effect and will remain with the squad for the remainder of the 2026 season.
The 24-year-old has been on loan with Pyrah’s side since June, where she scored 32 on debut against Durham in the Vitality Blast.
Clarke came through the Lancashire pathway and impressed during her time there, going on to represent Lancashire Thunder during the regional cricket era.
A wicketkeeper-batter by trade, Clarke will provide backup behind the stumps and is comfortable batting anywhere across the top six.
Clarke said, "I’m delighted to be permanently joining Yorkshire.
"Since joining up with the team in June, it’s been a fruitful period, and I've thoroughly enjoyed my time here so far.
"The environment around the team is brilliant and we have a real chance to push on over these next few years.
"The cricket we’ve played has been really positive and I'm excited by what the future holds."
