CITY picked up another point on the road but could not make it four wins in a row.
T&A chief sports writer SIMON PARKER was at Whaddon Road last night and provides the match stats and his player ratings.
MAN OF THE MATCH
Neill Byrne has clearly taken Graham Alexander’s criticism about City not scoring from set-pieces to heart after a second goal in successive games from corners. The Irishman was also very solid at the back.
MOMENT OF THE MATCH
City could not turn their second-half domination into a decisive second goal but Bobby Pointon went the closest when he fired against the bar.
MOAN OF THE MATCH
The Bantams lost their way after scoring early in the first half and allowed Cheltenham to play the game how they wanted up to the break.
TACTICS
Graham Alexander made two enforced changes from the team that started Saturday’s win over Gillingham.
Tyreik Wright had gone off early in that game with a tight hamstring and Lewis Richards, who came on for him, kept his place at left wing-back.
Clarke Oduor also took a whack on the ankle in the second half and did not feature. Instead, it meant a first start in five games for Bobby Pointon.
