BRADFORD (Park Avenue) will start their Northern Premier League East Division campaign on home soil, before entertaining two near-neighbours in the first month of action.
The NPL fixtures were revealed last night, and Avenue have been handed an opening game against North Ferriby at Horsfall.
That takes place on Saturday, August 10, then they make their first away trip three days later, travelling to Belper Town on Tuesday, August 13.
Avenue will be hosting either Stocksbridge Park Steels or Prestwich Heys in the FA Cup Preliminary Round on Saturday, August 17, so their third league game does not come until Tuesday, August 20.
That will see them welcome Brighouse Town to Horsfall, and they will entertain another close neighbour in Liversedge six days later on Monday, August 26, at the end of the Bank Holiday.
Two days prior to that derby against Sedge, Avenue will make the long trip to play Ashington in the league on Saturday, August 24.
During the festive period, Avenue have a Boxing Day home game against Pontefract Collieries followed by a New Year’s Day trip to Sedge.
Their final three league games come towards the end of April.
First is their Easter Weekend double header, which will see them host Grimsby Borough on Saturday, April 19 and then travel to Pontefract on Monday, April 21.
Their final league game is pencilled in to take place on Saturday, April 26, where Danny Whitaker’s men are due to host Ashington.
Avenue’s fellow NPL East Division sides Brighouse and Sedge have also found out their league fixtures for the season, as have Guiseley in the NPL Premier Division.
In the division above Guiseley, Farsley Celtic face an unusual start to their National League North campaign.
There are ongoing works on their pitch at The Citadel, meaning all of their first four home games will be played away instead.
