DALES Council League newcomers West Bowling have been given a home draw in the preliminary round of the Cawthorne Cup on Sunday, May 5.
The former Bradford Mutual Sunday School League club will face Drighlington’s second XI.
There are three other ties in the second XI cup preliminary round, including a Bradford derby between Thornbury II and Yorkshire LPS II.
In the Pool Paper Mills Cup, for first XIs, holders Interlink have been drawn at home to Leeds Gladiators in the preliminary round on Sunday, May 12.
Cookridge, beaten by four wickets in last year’s final, are at Baildon III, while Muff Field entertain Drighlington and, in another Bradford derby, Yorkshire LPS host Mayfield.
