The Bradford Premier League is making changes to its cup competitions for the 2024 season in response to the Players’ Survey conducted in 2022.

The Priestley Cup will see the introduction of coloured clothing and the use of pink balls. The same will apply in the two T20 competitions, which will now be played on Sundays.

The reserve dates for the Priestley Cup, Jack Hampshire Cup and Priestley Shield in the first three rounds, if required, will be 20 over games, and played to the relevant competition rules, on a Tuesday evening.

Sunday reserve dates have been built into the fixture schedule for semi-finals and finals of the Priestley Cup, Jack Hampshire Cup and Priestley Shield.

For the T20 Cup competitions the league is sourcing a match ball and will supply 12 to each of the competing teams free of charge. Entry to the competitions remains optional.

The invitations for the T20 Cup competitions will be sent out shortly. Four dates have been earmarked for the Group A Cup: April 28, June 16, July 7 and July 21, and four for Group B: April 28, June 9, June 23 and July 7.

The Group A final is set for July 28 and the B Final for July 21.

It is intended that each club will have a guaranteed home date when they play two fixtures.
