KEIGHLEY Cougars have signed Will Maher on a season-long loan deal from Halifax Panthers.
The Betfred Championship club do not have the option to recall the prop, meaning he will spend the whole of 2024 at Cougar Park.
Keighley are looking to rebuild their squad after their relegation to League 1, with they and Oldham looking like the early favourites for promotion.
Maher only joined Fax ahead of last season, on a two-year deal from Hull Kingston Rovers, but has struggled for game time at The Shay.
The giant forward had a spell on loan at Dewsbury during the summer, playing a role in their promotion to the second tier.
Before joining Hull KR, Maher had also spent time in Super League with Castleford Tigers.
It was while he was at Cas that he had brief spell on loan with Keighley, that coming during the 2017 season.
