BRADFORD Dudley Hill have pipped Bradford rivals Wibsey Warriors to the Yorkshire Men’s League Division Two title, with both sides now going into the play-offs.

The two have been locked in a title battle all season, and going into their final day game against each other, they were level on points.

But Hill, having dropped down to the YML this year, came out on top in spectacular fashion, winning 52-12 in Wibsey, as Neil Wall grabbed a hat-trick of tries and five conversions.

Daniel Lee and Ben Sheridan both helped themselves to a brace too, with the latter being named man-of-the-match.

The pair now head into the end of season play-off semi-finals, with Dudley Hill entertaining Illingworth and Wibsey facing another home derby against Queensbury.

Queensbury ended their season with a 26-12 win at Illingworth, which saw them move up to third at the home side’s expense.

Odsal Sedbergh had a walkover win against Greetland All Rounders.

In Division One, Keighley Albion finished top after their walkover win against Cutsyke Raiders, setting up a play-off semi-final clash at home to Sharlston Rovers this Saturday.

Newsome Panthers had a walkover win against Brighouse Rangers in the Premier Division.

Wyke were thumped 36-4 at Castleford Panthers in Division Three but clung on to fourth spot after Birstall Victoria suffered a narrow home defeat against Methley Warriors.

That means Wyke go into a play-off semi-final at table-topping Seacroft Sharks.

The National Conference League has already reached the play-off stages, and while West Bowling have been promoted from Division One outright after winning the title, Drighlington were in Division Three semi-final action on Saturday.

Sadly, their dreams of going up were dashed, as they were beaten 36-10 by Leigh East.
