DRIGHLINGTON have booked themselves into a play-off semi-final at Leigh East this coming Saturday.

Needing to win their final regular season game in Division Three of the National Conference League to guarantee a spot in the top-six, they thumped rock-bottom Seaton Rangers 58-12.

That moved them above both Bentley and Beverley, and allowed them to finish fifth.

West Bowling had already won the Division One title, so a 24-18 loss at Ince Rose Bridge on the final day was academic.

Great rivals Bradford Dudley Hill have had two walkover wins in three days against Kirkburton Cougars and Odsal Sedbergh.

That has put them above Wibsey Warriors, who beat Moldgreen 26-10 at the weekend, on points difference.

The two Bradford sides face each other on the final day this Saturday, so whoever wins that will finish the season at the summit.

Keighley Albion beat title rivals Stanley Rangers 28-20 in their penultimate game on Saturday, so as long as they win their final-day game at home to Cutsyke Raiders, they will finish top.

Wyke are ending the Division Three season well, and having beaten Garforth Tigers 34-24 at the weekend, will end the season in the play-offs if they beat Castleford Panthers on the final day of the regular season.

Birkenshaw finished the Division 4B season three points clear at the summit, after winning 32-12 at Todmorden in their final game.

Keighley Albion ended up third, losing their final game 42-4 at West Craven Warriors.

Both Brighouse Rangers A, in that division, and Brighouse Rangers’ firsts, in the Premier Division, gifted their opponents walkover wins.

Finally, West Bowling Academy finished second in the NCL West, losing their title decider 48-6 at Saddleworth Rangers.
