Bradford (Park Avenue) have confirmed that scholarship head Coach Pat McGuire has left the club.
The former Thackley boss, who is currently in charge of Frickley Athletic, first joined Avenue’s academy in January 2022.
McGuire posted a heartfelt farewell on Twitter, confirming he is moving on to a new role elsewhere:
Been a pleasure to work with such great staff, players and parents. Looking forward to see the programme go from strength to strength and wish everyone at BPA all the best for the future.

Avenue said: “We would like to place on record our thanks to Pat for his work at the club, both with the juniors and scholars, with him leading the latter to a third place finish last season.
“During his time at the club, Pat has coached players from our U8s to U19s, and also oversaw numerous academy players make the step up into the first team, including 14 for the County Cup match against Brighouse Town last season, a game Pat managed from the sidelines also.
“Pat also created links with local non-league clubs, which facilitated further opportunities for players to experience first team football.
As well his tweet, McGuire told the club website: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Horsfall, and it has been a privilege to coach in such a fantastic football environment, from the staff to the players to the first-class facilities.”
