Bradford Olympian Trampoline Club have once again reached new heights as half-a-dozen of their competition squad have been selected to represent Yorkshire at a national event in September.

The super six are Beatrice Teasdale, Dexter Clark-Dunn, Dhilan Daly, Elysia Robinson, Evie Ingram and Izzy Chivers.

They all had to progress through a series of qualification rounds to reach the Yorkshire Regional Final, where the top two in each age category were selected to represent the county at the Inter-Regional finals, which are to be held at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham.

In total, 16 of the club's talented squad members qualified for the Yorkshire Regional Final, which was held in Harrogate last month.

In addition, the club had a further three competitors who achieved third place podium finishes, narrowly missing out on a place in the Yorkshire squad.

This talented trio comprised Jake Newsham, competing in the male 9-10 category in his first year of competition, Isobelle Teasdale, who narrowly missed out on silver in a highly competitive female 13-14 category and Nathan Carroll, who was also competing for the first time at this level in the male 11-12 category.

Special mention must also go to Isobel North, who has returned from injury to achieve a fourth place finish in her category with an outstanding score of 81.36.

The Girlington-based club, established in 1984 by head coach Mike Abbott, have around 70 members aged between five and 50 and offer trampolining lessons for all abilities.

More recently the club were highly commended for Young Club/Team at the 2023 Bradford Sports Awards, where Abbott was presented with the Special Recognition Award and Emily Hebden was announced as the Young Disability Sportswoman of the year.
