Tong Park Esholt are just three points clear of the drop zone in Division One of the Aire-Wharfe League, and they were crushed at leaders Collingham & Linton on Saturday.

The visitors were reduced to a scarcely-believable 18-6 at one points, and ended up 48 all out, with only George Hammond (11) reaching double figures.

Josh Bennett took a couple of wickets in Collingham’s reply, but they cruised to an eight-wicket victory in 10.3 overs.

Saltaire dropped to fourth after a disappointing three-wicket defeat at home to struggling Bilton.

Like TPE, they had a terrible start with the bat, falling to 29-6, before a lower-order recovery led by captain Sajad Ali (25) at least allowed them to post 111-9 from 33 overs.

Bilton had a revised target of 105 from 31 overs, and they made it with five overs to spare, despite Mustahsan Ali Shah taking 3-39.

Steeton backed up reaching a second successive Waddilove Cup final last weekend by romping to a quickfire eight-wicket win over Follifoot on Saturday.

The Aire-Wharfe League Division Two clash at Summerhill Lane was affected by rain, with the visitors posting 76-5 from 20.2 overs.

Steeton’s Ben Hemsley kept the away side in check, taking 4-31.

The hosts responded in rapid fashion, and with opener Adam Smith striking 48 from 32 balls, Steeton passed their revised total of 84 inside 10 overs.

Steeton now have a 20-point buffer in the second and final promotion spot.

Fourth-bottom Bolton Villas simply did not score enough at Beckwithshaw with Usman Ali’s 44 the only score of note in their total of 131 all out.

Beckwithshaw coasted to their revised target of 113 from 35 overs, losing just three wickets in the process.

Harden produced a stunningly one-sided win at North Leeds in Division Three.

Wicket-keeper William Grace (113) and skipper Andy Wear (102) both struck centuries as the visitors racked up a mammoth total of 337-8.

Matthew Hogg took over thereafter, the Harden opening bowler recording sensational figures of 8-41 as North Leeds were rolled out for 85.

The emphatic victory takes Harden top of the league, as they look to immediately bounce back to Division Two following relegation.

Thackley are in-form too, having won four of their last five league games to move up to fourth.

They hosted Leeds Modernians on Saturday, with captain Jack Holland (49) leading the way as they posted 211-3.

Mohammed Shoaib backed him up with 40 not out, then followed that with 3-22 when Mods batted.

Jordan Moore took 4-20 for the Bradford side too, as they skittled the visitors for 158 in their attempts to chase a revised target of 241.

The rain meant there was no result in Bingley Congs’ home game against Rodley in Division Four, a shame for the Beckfoot Laners, who had reduced their visitors to 49-4 when the abandonment came.
