FARSLEY Celtic Deaf Football Club’s European trip has come to an end.

The Deaf Champions League has been held in Warsaw, Poland this week but Farsley couldn’t find a way out of Group B.

C.S.S.M Paris, who are one of the favourites to win the tournament, and Istanbul Sessizler made up Farsley’s group, however it was to be two consecutive defeats for the side from Bradford.

Farsley thoroughly controlled proceedings in Tuesday’s game against Istanbul, but they fell to a 3-2 defeat despite strikes from Bowe and Dixon.

In the final group match on Thursday the side from West Yorkshire gave a great account of themselves against the “European giants” Paris, however they fell to a 3-1 defeat on this occasion.
