The Ultimate Pool Players Championship returns this weekend, with Keighley duo Chris Melling and Arfan Dad both drawn in the same group.

Each of the 10 groups will take place over a Saturday and Sunday.

The format of each six-player group will see an initial stage where all the players face off against each other in a round-robin league.

The top four players will progress to a secondary group stage, with their points reset.

All four players face off once more, with a total of six more matches.

The top two then face off in the group final, with the winner progressing to finals weekend.

Dad and Melling are both in the final group, which does not take place until September 9-10.
