THACKLEY AFC have announced that Surefreight International have renewed their sponsorship of the Home Kit for the coming 2023/2024 season.

Surefreight International, who specialise in freight forwarding, ocean freight sea shipping and international road transport have been a main sponsor of Thackley AFC for almost a decade now, and they have once again committed their support for the upcoming season.

Committee Member and former Treasurer Steve Paley had the following to say: “Surefreight International have been a valued sponsor and partner of the Club for 8 years now, and the support helped us in some of our hardest times in recent history around 2015/2016. We cannot thank Tony [Daly] enough for how he has helped us through the years, and we are grateful again that Surefreight International are continuing as home kit sponsor for the upcoming season. We look forward to welcoming Tony, his family and Surefreight employees back to Dennyfield for more matches next season.”

Thackley have also confirmed that Priestley Joinery Limited have renewed their sponsorship of the Thackley AFC Away Kit for the 2023/2024 Season, bringing the sponsorship into its 5th consecutive year.

Priestley Joinery cover all aspect of joinery work from commercial subcontracting work to domestic projects and has recently assisted on a number of school renovation projects. Priestley Joinery also supported the Club with the 2020 renovation of the Thackley AFC Clubhouse, now known as “Arthur’s Bar at Thackley AFC”, which has seen it become the go to venue for private events bookings in and around the Thackley area.

Chairman Ben Oliver had the following to say: “We are really grateful to Priestley Joinery for the support once again for the 2023/2024 season. Over the years, Priestley Joinery have really helped us to lay strong foundations for the Club especially in relation to infrastructure around the place. As well as the obvious support in terms of the Away Kit, travel polos and travel hoodies, Carl [Priestley] is always free and offering to help if there are areas around the Stadium. We look forward to with Priestley Joinery over the coming season.”
