SOME of Bradford’s hottest boxing prospects were competing at the England Boxing National Schools Championships Finals Day on Sunday, at Guildford Spectrum in Surrey.
In Female Class B, Neveah-Mai Brierley of Lion Gym in Greengates and Siobhan Haley of Platinum in Queensbury both won a title.
In the Under 44kg category, Neveah-Mai won against City of Hull’s Grace Musgrave on split decision, while in the Under 54kg category, Siobhan had a unanimous decision victory over Shildon’s Karrera Jardine.
Laisterdyke duo Delilah Lambert and Bronson Hall were unlucky.
Delilah lost her title bout in the Female Class A, Under 46kg category to Anya New of Sunderland East End.
Bronson suffered the same fate in the Male Class B, Under 38kg category to Pinewood’s Simon O’Donnell.
