WEST Bowling are looking close to unstoppable in Division One of the National Conference League this year, as they notched up yet another big win at the weekend.

They were making a banana skin trip up to Cumbria to take on Egremont Rangers, but came away with six tries and two points from a 34-14 victory.

Kieron Baker, Charlie Barrett, Richard Lumb, Daniel Gregory, Jack Milburn and Ben Heald all crossed the line for Dean Muir's side, with reliable scrum-half Harry Williams landing five of his six conversion attempts.

Bowling are now two points clear at the summit, with five wins from their five games so far.

The four teams immediately below them in the table have all played six league games too.

In Division Three, Drighlington sit sixth after being beaten 36-18 at home by second-placed Millom.

Brighouse Rangers grabbed their first win of the Yorkshire Men's League Premier Division season, beating Doncaster Toll Bar 23-12 on home soil.

Keighley Albion suffered defeat in Division One, losing 44-10 at Ossett Trinity Rangers as they failed to back up their opening day win over Sharlston Rovers.

Wibsey Warriors are four points clear at the Division Two summit, after they beat Moldgreen 36-24.

Queensbury enjoyed an impressive 20-10 derby win over second-placed Bradford Dudley Hill to move up to third.

Wyke have slipped to the foot of Division Three after losing 28-10 at Birstall Victoria.

Finally, in Division 4B, Birkenshaw Blue Dogs opened their campaign with a 24-0 win over Featherstone Lions, and Keighley Albion Academy started out by losing 28-20 at Newsome Panthers A.
